Joe's secondsies

It is 10:00 PM. Time for Joe's second dinner. What will it be tonight? Corn dogs? Pizza? No, not tonight. There are only a few rules for Secondsies. 1-must be fried and/or contain cheese.


Tonight is . . .(drumroll) . . . . .

The Monte Cristo sandwich. Sounds like a delicacy, you say? Well, here it is, in all its glory. (Don't look at the white balance, which of course is off)


The mystery is in the creation. I will tell you. You make a ham and turkey and cheese sandwich - batter it, and .. . wait for it. . . you fry it. Top it off with butter (yes, he put butter on it) and powdered sugar - with a small amount of jam. Please, add this to your list of meals to eat at 10:00 pm. It is delicious and nutritious. And just might get you a fat wife.

Welcome to October

Well, we lasted until October 6th up here. How much more do you think we'll get out of our garden? And, since I was putting these on the blog, I thought I'd take a couple of the family. By the way, can you tell where my sprinkler does not shut off? I should probably look into getting that fixed.
