Our Update

Well, so that everyone knows, I never check the blog anymore. I used to check it every day, but now they are a little more strict at work. Joshua is sick today, so we have just hung out here. Sadie is growing and starting to sleep better on most nights. Mom and dad moved into the basement apartment, which gives us the house to ourselves-nice and quiet for Kristen. I may be looking for a new job sometime soon, so let me know if you have openings. And other than that, we are waiting for the snow to melt.
Also, the reunion will be the third weekend in July (16th ish?). We will meet Wednesday night and have Thur. Fri. and Sat. together before going home on Sat. night. For anyone who wants to do Yellowstone, we will meet Tue. night and go up on Wed. for that. However, that day is optional. I will get a list out of things that there are to do, but there is plenty: golf, snake river rafting, Jackson, Bar J, hiking, horses, lakes, small streams to fish or float, games.... We will be staying at Kristen's parents in Star Valley, which is free, so the money will go to activities and food, maybe $250/family, but we'll get back to everyone on activities and amounts. Just plan on the date for now.
Good luck to all, and we love you!

Sorrry Kim!

So, basically in the last few months I found out I was pregnant (surprise!), we bought a house, tore out flooring, re-painted, put in new flooring and baseboard, and, oh yeah, remember how I found out I'm pregnant? TWINS! SURPRISE!

Yup, it is true. I would have never - in a million years - thought that this could be possible. We are going to have TWINS!

I was going to post a pic of the ultrasound, but I can't find it. Just imagine two little blobs with arrows saying "Baby 1" and "Baby 2". Or, I should say #3 and #4.

No news on the gender yet, but we know they are NOT identical. Now, all we have to do is move all of our stuff from like 3 locations to one. Put it all away and then start thinking about how having 4 kids is going to ROCK OUR WORLD! I know, you are all laughing hysterically.
Ok just wondering why Joe and Kati's news isn't up here yet. Didn't you get the message that we are dying for information out here. You have to remember that even though you all live close some of us don't and we like stupid little updates. So now that you are reading this, take the time to write something of your own. For the little people like us and Weston and Doug and Tonia count as well. Love you all and I know some of you have news!!!

OK I was told by Shane to let him know when I post on my blog so that he can check out the pictures. So I posted. It takes too long to do both but I figure since the link is on this blog it is easy to check. Love you all. And happy inauguration day.

The Haircut!!

Yesderday while I'm in the shower:

Emily: "Mom, is it okay if I cut my hair?"

Me: "(gasp) Did you already do it?"

Emily: "Yea."

Needless to say, she got ahold of the scissors and did a little trim job on her hair. So today I took her to get it evened out. I almost cried. But she is still adorable!!! Here are some before and after pictures. (with the "after" pictures first. i'm still figuring this blog thing out)

Can I help Max Hall?

Coach Doman (BYU Quarterbacks) is in the hallway right now talking to coach Knight. Should I go to him and offer some advice for Max Hall's end-of-the-year issues?

Hello

Hey, just letting everyone know I am still alive. I went from checking this every day to once a month or so. Life is just different with the folks I guess. Anyway, doing well and just trying to help Sadie gain weight and keep quiet. Later all.

Carter Levi Johnson

Hello to all,

We wanted to give everyone a little update. Our insurance has approved the transfer for Carter. He will be flying up to Primary Children's Hospital. Now the question is when. Carter needs to be stable enough to transfer, and it looks like that won't happen until the first part of next week. He is still on a ventilator and gets all of his nourishment from an IV, but the IV looks just like Lemon Lime Gatorade, so he must be getting everything he needs. We look forward to all being home together in the near future, (even though the high in California is about 75 today.) Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers.

Kirk

-Hopefully these pictures give you a better idea of what he looks like.
