The Christmas music is up and running. And since I am feeling like Spring should be here already, we have a spring blog. I know, weird. Deal with it.

I need your help
There is a conspiracy afoot. I know that word will get your attention. Remington and Tamara are conspiring to create a fantasy dynasty. You have all received emails that propose trades between the wedded couple that will shift the balance of power in our league. This could shake the very foundation of what our league was founded upon. We need to veto these trades so that the integrity of our playoff system remains intact. Weston, I call upon you as our league commissioner to do whatever is in your power to stop these injustices. Thank you all for your help in this matter.
Kirk
(By the way... I play Tamara this week and if these trades go through I am going to get crushed.
HELP........PLEASE)

Let the Playoffs Begin
First, condolences to Remington who failed to make the playoffs. Tamara and I are playing for the third time this year, and the second time in two weeks. May the best team win, as long as that team is mine.

For us weirdoes
Brandon Sanderson is coming out with ANOTHER Mistborn. That man writes 2 1000 page books a year. That is insane.
Peer Pressure...
i noticed that after the uproar over people's choice of names, there have been those who have changed their vote, and i just want it to be known that i do not approve of muscleing and maneuvering going on in our family... i'm looking at you Kristen...

Teancum?
I'd have to say that that's the worst name, and people just want children who are assassins.

Obviously...
The best bible names are Joshua and Daniel. Do we even need to vote? Also, for all you alphabet game lovers out there, our new licence plates are the best ever, containing X, Y, and Z. Yes, we are the ones to follow on your next road trip.

Happy Halloween!
Johnson Halloween
I wanted to get these pictures posted first thing so everyones day could be a little better with us in it. The boys were great sports with their costumes for the ten minutes they had them on. It was raining but I was making them go out anyway. We got down the street, about 5 houses and the complaints started. I made them finish the rest of the street and we came home. Carter didn't make it that long. Luckily, after we came home, it stoped raining so the two older boys went back out for 30 minutes and got more candy that I made Kirk take to school and out of the house. It was a fun halloween even though the trick or treating wasn't ideal. Actual Halloween night was much better weather. Too bad.
Kim. I need to know how to get a Star Valley reunion book from two years ago. Talk to me.

Sadie's New Look
Sadie fell a few weeks ago and chipped one front tooth and knocked the other front tooth very loose. Last week she had to have the loose tooth pulled. Poor thing. Here are some pictures of our now toothless Sadie. Don't worry. She'll only look this way for 5 or so years.
Before:
After:
By the way, she was a trooper for the whole thing. They had to put her completely out for the pulling, and while most kids were screaming in recovery, she was calm and sweet. All she wanted was her binky!!

Kara Pictures
I had a neighbor take these and of course, they are adorable! I just knew no ones day would be complete without seeing them. On a side note, Brocks birthday is tomorrow and I just thought I'd let people know (grandma) that we are doing a very small party for him after dinner tomorrow. If anyone is interested, they are welcome to come up. Let me stress the smallness and therefore, I don't expect any takers but I don't want anyone excluded. This would include dinner so let me know by the end of the day please. Back to the pictures.

Rome Italy Temple - Sooo exciting!
President Thomas S. Monson will preside over the groundbreaking ceremony for the Rome Italy Temple on Saturday, October 23, 2010, where an architectural rendering of the temple will be revealed. Attendance is strictly limited to invited priesthood leaders and special guests. However, the proceedings of the ceremony will be rebroadcast to every chapel in Italy on Sunday, October 24, so that all may participate.
Building sites in Rome must be examined for Roman ruins before construction is permitted. The inspection is carried out by digging trenches every 10 to 15 feet across the property. The day the temple property was to be inspected, Church members in Rome held a special fast. No ruins were found over the entire property, yet an old Roman village was discovered just 100 yards beyond the property boundary line. The Church purchased the property in the late 1990s.3

What I want . . .
Has everyone seen the Apple TV?? I want one. Instead of paying full price for cable - you can just watch the shows you want for .99 each. Sounds good to me . . . except NBC hasn't signed up yet - so I will continue to watch biggest loser online. Check out this review HERE

So, I was just outside gathering Carter up from the neighbors and out came Brock with not the jeans he was wearing just moments before but with Kara's size newborn Dress bottoms (scrunchy underwear type things) on over his diaper. This answers the question that I'm sure was on every ones mind; "who has the least amount of area in the bum region?". Porter would be the real answer but Brocks not far behind. Ha Ha. It was just funny to see him run outside so I thought I'd share. Talk about self-confidence!

We are back from our trip and glad to see that a lot of people have posted on the blog. Good to see the pictures and here all that is going on. Joe Buck the patio looks amazing. You all did a great job. Here are a few pictures that we took on our trip. The kids actually were great traveling and would ask every morning, "mom where are we going on our adventure today". Bryar would also often ask, "what state are we in now". It always seamed to be a different one every time she asked. I am not going to go into detail because I just spent a really really really long time updating our little family blog so if you want a little more detail just jump on over. But here are a few pictures for you so we can also participate and be a part of the family.
This is us eating breakfast one morning in our trailer. Here is the White House. Bridger was out by this point of our day.

Mystery Bag
For all you who haven't been in Kindergarten for a while, the Mystery Bag is what used to be called Show and Tell. And I'm here to share a little Shakira with you. This song has been stuck in my head for months - and I still LOVE IT! It makes me happy. So press pause on the music and prepare to dance to the beat.
PS Shakira is beautiful. Yes, she is 5'1". But, if I could look like her I would gladly give a few inches. Good trade.
Enjoy

I just dropped Emily off for her first day of kindergarten. The tears have stopped now (there were only a few, I promise), but I still can't believe how grown up she seemed today! She was so excited and so confident! Here are some pictures....how do you like the backpack she chose? We just couldn't pass it up!!

Thank you!!
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came and helped us pour our patio - for a first time thing I think we did a pretty good job!! You all are so great for helping. I haven't posted pictures yet because it still needs to be sealed. Since everyone who cares enough to look at the patio has already seen it, I really haven't felt the need to post unfinished pics. When we have a finished product I'll post!

Close Encounter??
Thursday, August 5, 2010
OK, just a little update on us here. Joe is finally coming off nights. Yeah!!! He has been working nights for a month. It is great for the first couple of days but then it gets old keeping kids quiet in the morning to let him sleep. And if you know my kids...they don't do quiet. Asher is pushing six weeks and getting a little bigger. It is funny how fast they grow. Also exciting news is Joe gets his paternity leave starting Monday so we have two weeks off in August. We are planning to paint our house and fix up anything we want before we move in June so that we can enjoy it before we move. So he is really just moving from a job he makes money for and working for free with the joy of kids trying to help and working around you. Love you all and will post again soon. I am doing a good job some of the rest of you need to pick up a little on this information loop. Hope you are feeling better Tamera!! Over and out!

Shane?
Not in a way of criticism, but why is Shane getting all of the love on the poll this time? There are some great candidates on that board.

It's getting intense. I couldn't wait to unveil this--
We've decided to lose touch with reality, and we're gonna just do it. What the heck. We're themeing our lives from here on out. Lord of the Rings, baby. We are stepping out of reality as you know it. You're all invited to hobbiton for a feast next month. Remember your ale and weed from the south farthing.

joe, please re-invite doug to the family blog, he can't log in for some reason, his email is doug@covinors.com

Keep current...
So here's what's up---Kati's tomato plants are taller than me, but we've no tomatoes. We are pouring a patio next Saturday, and will thereafter eat breakfast every morning in the fresh summer air breezing gently across the lawn, massaging our bodies with the scent of dewdrops and honey. It will be cute. The twins are going up and down stairs, which seems like progrees until we remember that Ian and Jonas both walked before age one, and were about twice as large. Ian is obsessed with spirit prison and soccer, and Jonas is just running around in constant adorable disobedience. I am getting my master's degree in a sell-out manuever (educational leadership rather than history). We aren't too busy to hang out with all of you, like you may think, but we are a little apprehensive that our children will drive you out of our lives forever.
