I agree bad acting in the first one but good story. Too bad John Wayne couldn't just do the gun on the horse thing for us. Or we could just put in the old one and fast forward the whole movie.
I don't think you understand--this is now the same great movie with good acting and great directing. Sans John Wayne, yes, but with a great actor in Bridges. It is the new best movie ever.

It wouldn't be hard to beat the first one. John Wayne was the only one who could act. But, it did have a great slow motion gun handling scene
