Hey everyone. Things are going great here in Alabama. Joe has finished his shop and is moving in. He also put on some outdoor lighting on our house and it looks great so I am just going to put a picture so you can all see his handy work. Bryar and Bridger are good and Bridger is starting to scoot. He is pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.

I tried to post a comment, but it didn't work. Your kids are both adorable. Bryar reminds me of you when you were little. show us one of Bridger scooting.

Isn't nap time a wonderful thing. I know it is not really for the kids but for the parents. It is my favorite part of the day where you can just sit for an hour or two and just do whatever you want. The joys of parenting. Oh by the way Shane I borrowed the last book from my neighbor so I am in the middle of it right now. I'm hearing a lot of mixed reviews on it so I am kind of excited to see what I think about it. You know the times you actually get to sit down and read. Four in the morning for me and the glorious nap time I was talking about earlier.

hello effereebahdee

just saying hi. i don't really have that much to say.

Many of you have asked for pictures of our house so here they are. One is from Joe's helicopter. He gets to fly over the house quite a bit so he took his camera one day.

Hey everyone I have my own blog now if you care to look. But don't worry I will still post on this one just like I did before. Mostly it is for Joe's family and friends that look at this post to see what me and Joe are doing. Or Joe and I. So just letting you all know. And here is a cute picture of Bridger since he doesn't really do too many cute things right now so Bryar is posted more.

email

in accordance with joe buck's request, my email is westoncap@gmail.com

off my political soap box...

anyway the mission field is going well and i'm learning a lot, for joe buck, abdul kalumbi is now living and serving with my college roomate moo in ny ny south. everything is good except for a string of robberies going through the mission field (i now got the bike i inherited stolen out of my apt while we were sleeping) i love you all and will talk to you later.

obama

talking to a member out here who met obama, i discovered that according to her, he has no morals(derived from the fact that he was flirting openly with a girl in front of his wife) and she has never felt the spirit leave more quickly than when she spoke with him. he's never had a normal job in his life, he's never been in the military, and although he graduated from columbia, not one single person recalls him attending there, nor can he recall a single address that he lived at when he went to columbia. he only converted to christianity ten years ago from islam when it became politically advantagous, and his middle name is hussein. almost every member out here in chicago believes that he is the antichrist. and any educated person, mormon and non-mormon alike is against him being elected. i'm wondering if the people here are just crazy or if you guys are noticing the same things? so according to chicago, don't vote for obama.

the johnsons? who are they?

Well, I guess its our turn to write something really quick, however boring it may be. Kirk's sister was here at the end of summer and helped me convince Kirk to knock out the wall leading from the living room to the kitchen. Its going to be awsome and really open up that little room. Unfortunatly, nothing more has been done to finish it. So we are still living in 'construction' but like I said, it will be awsome when its all done! We are also going to pour a cement lining in the back yard for a pretense at landscaping. That also is going slowly. But we have to plant the trees soon so thats a little motivation for us.
Kirk is liking AF but it is very diffent from West Valley. He actually gets to teach and the parents care. I still haven't decided if he is happy there or would rather be at a school with issues where he is the minority, I'll have to let him fill us in on that detail. Other than that, I'm way excited for Halloween (as Kirk could tell you). I have my costums all worked out and am now just counting the days. I told Kirk we could talk about ti now because its September. He too is very excited. I will stop writing since I had nothing to share in ther first place.

Robbed!

i hate chicago! no just kidding but i did get my car broken into and my camera and my gps were stolen. two other missionaries camera's were stolen also. we were in the library emailing last week and everything was fine until we came out and found our window shattered and our stuff missing. we called the cops and the cop came and took down our information on the back of a pizza flyer, obviously quite angry to have been pulled from whatever he was doing. the library director however was quite happy to help us and worked and found out they had the guy on camera and he comes to the library quite often.... and thats all people have cared to do, the cops are too lazy to go any further than that and so basically my stuff,(which is probably making its way around the flea market about now) is gone and i won't get any reparations unless the guy decides to turn himself in out of a guilty conscience.(which i'm really banking on) so although i have no camera, no gps, members don't feed me, and i'm broke, i continue to be a missionary. but i guess thats what missions are all about.
