Uncle Jim Workman's passing

Uncle Jim passed away quietly in his sleep this morning at 6:15 a.m. Lana and I were with him and he is much happier on the other side. Lana is doing well and is at peace. We appreciate your fasting last weekend. It brought great peace to him and his entire family. I will be home Friday. The funeral will be forthcoming, but prepare for Monday around noon for any of you who can attend. I know they would love it!! He will be buried in Tooele on Tuesday. Happy Birthday to Kati tomorrow. I've been out of the loop, but still know I have hers, then Weston, Monday; Alyssa, Wed; and Bridger, Sat. I love you all so much!!!mom

Tyson's blessing

after me, weston tallying dads bracket, i have noticed that at the end of the first round he was tied with tamara at 28, however he has a perfect west division bracket so far, and all of his final four teams are still in it. mom has done pretty well herself with 25 in the first round and she is more hurt by pitt.

Well, I made fun of Kristen for picking BYU to win the whole thing. Little did I know that her pick would advance further than mine (Pittsburg). I guess that is what happens when you put all of 10 seconds into thinking about the bracket this year. So, for all of you who don't have your winner after round 2, join with me in a glass is 1/4 full song!

So the only one who didn't pick BYU to win today was Kirk. But lets just say that is the least of his worries with his bracket. Just like to rub things in once in a while.

Round 1

Even though the NCAA has chosen that Round 1 consisted of only 4 games, our first round was made up of a total of 36 games. Here are the standings:

Reunion

So, once again, the plans have changed. We don't know to what though so you'll have to check back next time for our weekly update. I was trying to figure out how much we have for our runion. I know we already talked about this but I need to have money to pay for the place. There are a few people who have contributed to the account but for those who haven't paid and are planning on coming, I need to get in contact about payment for this year. Just so I have the funds to at least book a place. So, I would need your contributions the sooner the better. Thanks to all.

I have nominated Kirk to be in charge (he's the only one I can) so that there is no more confusion. They will be put up at mom and dads house again because its always fun to compare. Email Kirk (or me) your brackets. I hope I'm not stepping on any toes but I don't know who to send my bracket to and games start TODAY! I expect a high participation rate!
