Our Own X-Man
Good news, I just found out today that BYU has it's own version of Wolverine! Bronco stated in his latest press conference that he debated about playing Lark because of Nelson's injury (which obviously wasn't affecting him). However, Bronco provided this reason for why he didn't: "he just kept recovering and recovering." Unfortunately for us, that did not apply to his own fumbles.
Does anyone else feel an ever so slight feeling of apathy at this point in the season? I debated about even watching the game Saturday - because I did not want to watch Riley any more. Unfortunately, I still watched it.
Sorry Christy for this post.

Its a dropbox success!
So I just signed into drop box and was happy to see some pictures already there! Please keep putting them on when you have cute ones to share! I didn't have Westons or Marshalls email so I need to get them so I can send an invite, unless someone else can-I don't know how that works. Still waiting for some Christmas 2010? pictures Kimmy. I loved looking at them all so thanks for putting some on.

Memories
It's snowing in orem and i just went to the hot tub in it. on the way back from this mighty excursion, i reached into my swimming trunks and found a room key from the swissotel in Ankara. you may remember this city for having the best food in all of Turkey... the Arby's Roast Beef and Cheddar.

Also, (for those who wonder)
these are the schools im going to apply to... Idaho State University, University of Wyoming, Northern Arizona, St. Xavier(in chicago), Rush(also in chicago, and the biggest longshot of my applications), and University of Hawaii.
Time for the family to edit my work...
im currently writing letters of intent to the graduate schools that i am applying to, and since our family is experienced in this, and other areas, im going to have you all edit the two paragraphs that i am sending to all the colleges, the 2nd paragraph is why i picked whatever particular college i am sending it to, so i'll just write those solo. anyway, everybody who has meaningful input needs to tell me if anything is wrong or could be better otherwise.
here are the two paragraphs:
To Whom it may concern,
My name is Weston Atwood, and I am currently a senior at Brigham Young University, majoring in Communication Disorders. I learned about a career in Speech Language Pathology through my sister in-law, who graduated from BYU in the program. As I started taking classes in the major, it amazed me how I grew to love the subject. I have come to realize the immense struggles people can have with speech and language, and how fulfilling it is to help those people. The happiness that our assistance can bring to people is what drives my passion in this field.
(2nd paragraph)
When I originally decided to go into Speech Language Pathology, my goal was to work in schools with children. As I have continued on in the major however, I have found that the medical side of Speech Language Pathology interests me greatly. When I graduate and start working, my goal is to work with disabilities that are psychogenic in nature, which is why I minored in psychology. Due to the wide scope of psychogenic disorders however, I want to have the most well rounded education I can; being trained in all areas of the field.
(Sincerely,
Weston Atwood)

I'd Say We're There - And Tonight Proves It
As I numbly watch the television, I think about this:
Mosiah 29:27
And if the time comes that the voice of the people doth choose iniquity, then is the time that the judgments of God will come upon you; yea, then is the time he will visit you with great destruction even as he has hitherto visited this land.
How can any sane person vote for a president that has done nothing of value in 4 years, makes personal attacks his re-election calling card, covers up information from Americans, and only really has time for David Letterman? Then add in that Americans vote against an economically minded candidate while still in a recession that is just hanging on by a thread from becoming a depression. And they vote against the candidate because he was "too successful" in his business? To me, this says a lot about the state of our nation (and this post will probably put me on the crazy conservative watch list - so I'll probably get audited this year).

Happy Halloween!
So first of all- I need a little more guideline on this favorite song. I can't think of one because there is always one better. And do you do country? no because nobody likes it. Dance music for when you're driving in the car? no because you can't always listen to it at home. Slow music? it gets boring when exorcising. Elvis can't even make the list! I am at a stand still. Could we have a little less broad challenge? Some of us our limited in our thinking capacity! Lets cater to the weaker ones around here!
Having said that, here are our kids for Halloween. They had a great time going around! Unfortunately, there were hardly any people this year so nor only do I have tons of drinks left but we were out by ourselves so we didn't get to see other cool costumes! Lets do better next year people! Done venting. Have a great day.

Kati I loved the pictures. Here is our family on Halloween. They do have trick-or-treating around here. In fact I have never seen so many kids out.
Bridger wanted to be Batman so I saw the costume and bought it and decided to make Robin to go along with Batman. Luckily Asher was a good sport. He is too little to know what he wants anyway.
Aiven was our little mummy. More just a last minute costume. I usually am thinking months before on what we will be but I just didn't know what to expect here so didn't really do anything until the week before. But she turned out super cute and was very good while I was wrapping her up.
Bryar is a cat and I didn't get an individual of her. What a bad mom. But she was my black cat and we didn't get a picture of me. I was a witch with a green face.
Happy Halloween everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful night!!!
