Conference

So, Eyring's talk in priesthood was dominant, as was Oaks' but Holland took the philosophes and beat them to death with their own shoes. President Hinkley wasn't too easy on the Nicene Creed either.

It was fabulous, and I had to clap at the end of Elder Holland's spectacular intellectual triumph.

In closing, check out my uvula.

Loved your comment Joe - and your uvula.

One minor note - the preferred spelling is philosophes with an e.

:-)

I would not know how to spell it either way. Regardless, we had no power on Saturday, and Kristen would not let me go to priesthood, so I saw the first hour of session one, and the last 45 of session 2. I did see Holland's though, and it was pretty bold and straight-forward. He is next in line on my wish list for the first presidency, then Oaks or Bednar. But we got Eyring in!

I agree. We need more talks like these. They were fun.
